There are those times in your life when you give up on everything.
Every inch of faith, every dime of self love is lost.

And then, you're nothing but a machine, duty bound.
Surviving 'cause not surviving isn't a solution either.

That's when you don't want to hear, or listen, or speak.
Just be.

This is that point.

  1. Don't give up please. Yell if you need to.

  2. I have been at that point of brokenness... it sometimes seems like I will never heal... but I have, slowly... we all can. It isn't the least bit easy, how I wish that it was... This is so raw...

  3. We all get to a point like this... Silence, Time, and a change of space, is just about the only thing that works...

  4. I know this feeling all too well. :/

  5. Sometimes we find our self in "just being"...

  6. Beautiful, reflective words, sometimes we need that silence to find ourselves again, please don't give up, I am at that point now and I hope that my life will get better.
    Take care
    xoxoxo ♡

  7. Give time to yourself and love yourself.. There is still a lot left to do..
The time when we feel we should leave, is the time we should stay coz we are being tested..
    stay positive dear!

  8. I hope I never get there. It is kind of terrifying.

  9. This happens quite often, and then I listen to lots of songs, and write, and sometimes just sit there and do nothing, take my camera out and start to click. Don't worry, you are just the lucky one to feel like this, not everyone can feel it. :)

  10. and that's when you find yourself again.xx

  11. And at least it can't get any worse than that, as long as you stay alive. Maybe that's some form of comfort.

  12. lovely :)

  13. Hey, I just nominated you for the Liebster award :). Hope you can come over and visit!

  14. I remember the last time I felt like this. But in the end, I came out stronger than ever.

  15. Been there. Done that. Except that I didn't want to "be" either. I wanted to disappear permanently, in a desperate attempt to break away from all the suffocating complexities of life. Most of the times, we are able to chart our course through this web but at other times, we trip over the silken thread of balance and fall over, turning completely immobile with no strength nor any motivation to move. It's like sinking and sinking deeper into the recesses of our own minds.

If experience makes me qualified to pass any judgement, I'd say that this particular phase is the worst. The absolute worst. And sooner or later, the exhaustion that comes in the wake of self-hate, gets to you and you find a good enough reason to kick yourself up back on your feet. At least some do. I hope you're one of us who can stand up straight and proud the tenth time for every nine times you fall. :)

  16. That's me some of the time. Ugh I hate that feeling. But thank you for writing it to convey something relatable for me. At least I'm not the only one. Hope you're feeling better now. I love your blog!!!
