How much will you fight the battles that are not worth the fight?

How much will you resist something that is out of your control?

How could you define your happiness in terms of something that doesn't depend on you?

How could your happiness depend on anything anyway?

"Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves."
- J.M. Barrie

  1. If you worry about things that are beyond your ability to control them (such as an asteroid strike) you will always be frustrated. Likewise our capacity to control other people and not teach them to hate us in the process.

However, managing our concerns and keeping them within our ability to influence outcomes brings a sense of accomplishment and joy.

You can also make the case that a person's reach should exceed their grasp - because that's how progress happens.

  2. I try to keep my worries limited to the ones I can find a solution for.

  3. Gosh, I am such a resister, I know better and yet I still resist... it's a learning curve for me... everyday xox

  4. 'the more you shall honor Me,
the more I shall bless you'
    -the Infant Jesus of Prague
